U REQUEST AND I SEARCH FOR U.....

Windows XP despite being a great window and mostly secure has some bugs which I call weak links that if broken could gain you access to almost any system. But what I am writing here is just for fun purpose and not for breaking any security code.
When you are installing windows XP , it asks for administrator password which most of us do not enter and leave it. But this is the main administrator password which if entered could fail this trick…….but as I said most people do not know this….so here’s the trick ……
1. Start the computer and press F8 continuously till a screen appears which prompts you to start windows in safe mode. Start wndows in “safe mode with command prompt”.
2. When the login screen appears, it will have an account as “administrator”. Click on it and WHOA you will be logged in without requiring any password.
3. Suddenly DOS-Prompt will appear. Here type

Net user




4. Example here “abc” is administrator and we need to change his login password.
5. So type in DOS-PROMPT
Net userabc*
6. When “type a password for the user” and “retype the password to confirm” appear just press enter. Do not type any password there.
This will look like this

7. Next restart the computer in normal mode and in the login screen click the hacked account as in this case is “abc”. It will not ask for password and you will be logged in.
8. Now you have access to all accounts and you can set the password for this account by going to control panel->user accounts.

Even though more and more people are migrating to Windows Vista, Windows XP has really made its presence felt in this recent years and will not tail off so quickly, at least not in this near future. Though my laptop is Vista-ready, I doubt its capability of handling Windows Vista. I believe many share the same experience and the following pie chart (eches' visitors) shows Windows XP still prevails the operating system distribution.

Alright Ladies And Hostile Men, Were Gonna Learn How To Disable The Timer On The Computers On In Internet Cafe's.Alright Create A New Text Document, Then Type CMD In It, And Then Save It As a Batch File, And Then Run The New Batch File On Your Desktop. Then Command Prompt Should Open, Now You Type "cd\windows" to change the directory to Windows, than type in "regedit" to get to the registry editor gui, than navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Appevents>software>classes> micr osoft>windows>current version>internet settings>policies>system" then on the right pane where it says Disable Taskmanager, right click on it, and scroll down to modify, and then change the value of it to "0", and then open Windows Task Manager By Holding Down These Keys, "CTRL+ALT+DEL/DELETE" And Then Disable The Internet Cafe's Timer, And WoohLAH, UNLIMTED TIME.

How to... Test if your Anti-Virus has been Compromised

Do you think you might have a virus on your machine? Not sure if your AV is doing its job? Well, here’s a simple test.

First, create a new text file and paste the following code into it:

X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*

Then save the text as a .COM file (any name will do, like eicar.com). Either scan the file manually or the auto protect feature of most AV programs should have already caught it. (My SAV caught it immediately upon saving it as a .txt file.)

This test string is a way to test to see if an anti virus program is not working. It was created by the anti-virus industry as a standardized test and should not be taken to be an effective measurement of your anti viruses ability.

The whole point of the EICAR test is to see if an anti-virus program has been infected. If the anti-virus program doesn't detect the string, then there is a chance a virus has done something nasty to it. This was only meant as an internal test for developers though, not for end users. Also, this doesn’t mean that your system is free of viruses. Just that your AV is working to the best of it capabilities.

The only reliable test for how well your anti-virus program is doing, is how well it's doing funnily enough. Is your computer on fire? Have missiles just launched? Are robots trying to tear down your office door? If so you may have a virus, otherwise your AV is doing it's job.



CHECK AND SAY HOW YOUR ANTIVIRUS WORKS???????

This has bugged me for ages, as I've always wanted to have a nice clean icon free desktop.

After setting my mind to it for a while I discovered that removing the recycle bin from the desktop is very easily done. All you have to do is

open run from the start menu and

type "gpedit.gsc" which will open the "group policy" window.

from here simply go to user configuration/administrative templates/desktop

Under this menu there is an option to remove the recycle bin from the desktop, you guessed it all you have to do is select this option and select "enable" Probably nothing new to alot of you but anyway thought I'd help out if I can and this was all i could think of to teach off the top of my head haha

If anyone needs any photoshop help let me know too, ill be keen to see what i can do

Hi all...... We all know about new feature "Windows Experience or Performance Index" in Windows Vista. It's a new feature which automatically calculates your system performance index based on the hardware you have. It can be between 0.1 to 9.9 Windows Performance Index is shown in System Properties which can be accessed by right-clicking on My Computer icon on Desktop and select Properties or from Control Panel. With Vista's Windows Experience Index it can be handy to manually change the score so you can get extra features that apply to PC's with a higher score. Using this trick, you can increase that Index upto 9.9


NOTE: It will, of course not affect/improve the actual performance of your system. Take a prior backup of that file before editing it.

How to:
1. Type following in Startmenu Searchbox / Run / Explorer Addressbar: %windir%\Performance\WinSAT\DataStore And Press .

2. You’ll one or more .xml files in the folder. Sort them by Date Created or look at their name. The file name will be in following format: 2007-11-08 22.23.17.858 Assessment (Initial).WinSAT.xml Where "2007-11-08 22.23.17.858" might differ from machine to machine and Windows Installation date/time.

3. Open the latest file in "Wordpad" and goto line having .
It’ll be approx. 12th line and will look like following:
1 4 3.4 2.9 3.9 1 1 4.2

4. Now you can edit the numbers between > & <> 9.9 9.9 9.9 9.9 9.9 9.9 9.9 9.9

5. Thats it. Save the file and check the Index again in System Properties. It'll 9.9 now.

Microsoft will allow a higher score than 5.9 in the future when the relative performance of future computers far exceed a score of 5.9
